Old Airport on Victory Road opposite South African Embassy
You can connect with Tivoli @ 011-320-3918

According to About.com, pizza was considered a peasant's meal in Italy for centuries.  Although food historians agree that pizza like dishes were eaten by many peoples in the Mediterranean including the Greeks and Egyptians.
Tivoli Pizza Coffee & Bar has created a restaurant with simple but tasty food, awesome customer service, and down-to-earth atmosphere around Beserate Gabriel, Old Airport.  My colleagues and I went for lunch and chose “Tivoli’s Signature Pizza” which is made in a wood fired pizza oven.

Have a look @ Tivoli's Pizza!

What might ask what the advantage of wood fired pizza oven is????
According to Alton Brown in his great reading cookbook, I’m Just Here for the Food, he believes the advantage to roasting anything in a wood fired oven is even heat distribution. A clay or earthen oven can be heated up to 700 degrees and will radiate the heat evenly over time thus making pizza taste BETTER.
How was Tivoli's Signature Pizza?????
Tivoli's Signature Pizza is perfect crisp dough with the right combination of Cheese, Beef, Bell Pepper, Black Olives & Simple Tomato Sauce, and beautiful presentation.  Would I go back? YES, I WOULD LIKE TO TRY THE TUNA PIZZA NEXT TIME.
How about the customer service????
The wait staff was friendly and helpful, customer service was good.  However it gets packed at lunch time so might not get your food fast, not fun if you are in a rush or hungry!!!
Now you are probably wondering how much does it cost?
The price for regular size pizza is about 70 Birr which is standard for restaurant like Tivoli in Addis!

If you are a Pizza Lover you won't be disappointed, you can have a great finger licking pizza at the restaurant or order a takeaway!!!!
